Dr Mohammed Umer was born and raised in Blackburn. He studied medicine at the University of St Andrews and Manchester. He completed his GP training in East Lancashire and now works as a GP Principal at Darwen Healthcare. Also, Dr Umer is the Clinical Director of Blackburn with Darwen Primary Care Networks.
After studying and qualifying in India, 1999. Dr Ahmed moved to the UK to pursue further qualifications and experience. He holds a double speciality qualification- Paediatrics as well as General Practice. Dr Ahmed’s interests are primary care innovation and admission avoidance.
Jolene Gregory has worked in General Practice for the last 20 years, 15 of which have been in Blackburn with Darwen. Jolene’s background is 'practice management, business management and managing services at scale' Jolene is the Operational Director for Local Primary Care Federation.
Since 2000, Dr Zafar has worked as a GP in Blackburn with Darwen. Dr Zafar completed his training in Bury. He also holds a fellowship degree in surgery. Dr Zafar has been instrumental in transferring hospital services into the community. Previous experience includes being a Medical Director for Blackburn GP Cooperative and a member on the Primary Care Trust.
